CIPP Modular Lining System

Ted Berry Company’s CIPP Modular Lining System

provides a structural repair without digging the existing pipeline.

We can rehabilitate existing building service pipelines in diameters from 2" to 12" in less then a day. This inversion method allows the Perma-Lateral™ lining materials to negotiate 22's, 45's and sweeping 90's. A special liner called "flexi-liner" can negotiate 90's when required.

Only Perma-Liner™ liner materials have a reinforced scrim to eliminate stretch during the inversion process. The reinforcement scrim allows the liner to invert smoothly through the existing pipeline while preventing the liner from stretching.

The Perma-Lateral™ liner allows us to invert the liner through the existing building sewer pipeline (cleanout) to the city main sewer connection, from a manhole, from a catch basin, or from an excavation with limited disruption to service and a small construction footprint. Our materials use ambient cure resins which will be completely cured and ready for service within 4 hours of installation.

The CIPP inversion unit is designed for easy access and low mobilization/setup costs. The Lateral Lining System unit can invert 2" to 12" diameters.

CIPP Sectional Point Repairs - Permaliner System

There has been an increase in municipal and industrial collection system owners utilizing sectional point repairs in place of digging or lining the entire pipeline. This change has saved the municipal government agency hundreds of thousands of dollars and enabled them to repair multiple areas without additional funding.

Pipe made of Clay, Cast, PVC, Wood, etc… can now be structurally repaired in hours without disruption to traffic or sewer flow.

The Ted Berry Company Trenchless Technologies Team is capable of repairing pipe sizes from 4" to 36" with materials that we stock in Livermore, Maine.

CIPP Perma-Patch

Perma-Liner™ Industries has developed a proven method to rehabilitate small diameter pipelines utilizing a “local” sectional repair system. The Perma-Patch™ system is the latest development in rehabilitation products from Perma-Liner™. The new Perma-Patch™ system uses a fiberglass mat with 100% solids epoxy resins, creating a structural repair with a minimum life span of 50 years per ASTM F1216 Specifications! Perma-Patch™ is designed for 4” and 6” diameter pipelines with cracks, holes, and separation in joints. The Perma-Patch™ repair is inserted into the damaged pipe using an inflatable bladder and push cable. The Perma-Patch™ repair is centered over the damaged pipe section and pressed tight against the host pipe area, creating a structural new pipe.
No excavation is required!

Typical Installation Benefits
  • With a small diameter camera inspection system, locate the damaged area
  • Open the Perma-Patch™ Repair Kit (everything is included)
  • Impregnate the fiberglass mat with the 100% solids epoxy resin
  • Wrap the impregnated fiberglass mat around the inflatable bladder
  • Secure the fiberglass mat to the inflatable bladder
  • Push the bladder into the pipeline through an open clean-out (no-digging)
  • Inflate the bladder and hold for 3 hours
  • Pull out the bladder and insert camera for final inspection
  • Sold in complete kit (no measuring or waste)
  • One man can install several Perma-Patch Kits in a single day
  • No alarming odors (work in doors or outdoors)
  • Works on wet surfaces (excellent bonding to existing materials)
  • No-Digging (installation access is utilized through existing clean-outs)
